For the next couple of lessons you'll be working on creating a set of vector ninjas as in the example above. It's a fun little activity in which you explore a small but important subset of Illustrator tools which you'll use repeatedly in the coming months. A helpful tutorial can be found here in our  shared Google Drive  folder.

This site will be our primary method of communication. Look carefully and you will see links to various documents and resources that you will need. Listed below are a number of things you will need to do to get up and running in the first week. London Surname Map As you consider options for the final few weeks you I'm posting some more suggestions. Taking your inspiration from the above could you create a surname map for SAS?

Text solution example -  Design Engineers Once you have completed the shape infographic for your weekly time use move on to the second assignment and construct a text solution as in the example above. You can only use each word (activity) once and the size of the word must reflect it's relative importance in terms of the number of minutes you devote to this activity each week. I would recommend dividing the number of minutes for each activity by ten and inputting the answer straight into the text box in Illustrator. Issues of  alignment and proximity (the space between objects) will be critical here.

The next series of assignments are based around your Interim trip. You are required to create (and upload to drive as PDFs) six posters in all: 2 x A3 posters based on 1 photo 2 x A3 posters based on  2 photos 2 x A3 posters based on 3 photos 2 X A3 posters based on text only (see above post) Can you make sure that when you upload them to Google Drive the files are saved in PDF format and that they are labelled properly.
