Construct 6 posters that frame the questions listed below.
  1. Each poster must be A3
  2. Each poster must contain a high quality background image (i.e, greater than 1500 pixels)
  3. Include the question
  4. Include a statistic or information that provides a context for the question. In the example above the statistic/ information was "By 2050 the world population is expected to top 9 billion, of which nearly 7 billion will end up in cities." Remember to try and adopt a futures perspective.
  5. Attribute the photographer.
QUESTIONS:
  1. What makes us happy?
  2. What is beauty?
  3. What will we eat?
  4. How will we be educated?
  5. What is a sin?
  6. Who will we worship?

This site will be our primary method of communication. Look carefully and you will see links to various documents and resources that you will need. Listed below are a number of things you will need to do to get up and running in the first week. It is an expectation that you will subscribe to the RSS Feed to receive all updates to this site (see the right hand link 'follow by email'). This will be easier than manually checking the site for updates.  BOOKMARK THE CLASS SITE  You will be using this site regularly please make sure it is bookmarked on both your laptop and the iMac you have chosen to work from.  SOFTWARE We use the Adobe Creative Suite package throughout the semester the latest version of which is installed on the iMacs in the lab. VECTOR NINJA

For the next couple of lessons you'll be working on creating a set of vector ninjas as in the example above. It's a fun little activity in which you explore a small but important subset of Illustrator tools which you'll use repeatedly in the coming months.
